School Theft

Kuching, Sarawak on Thurs 26 Nov 2009.

A Chinese-medium primary school has lost five computers to thieves. The theft was discovered yesterday.The incident came to light around 6.45am, when a staff member saw that two doors leading to the staff room, located on the first floor above the school hall, had been forced opened.

A quick check inside the staff room revealed that five computers had been stolen, and the matter was immediately brought to the attention of the headmaster.

The headmaster, who requested that the school’s name and location not be published, told reporters that this was the second time thieves had struck his school.

The first incident happened some months back, but he declined to reveal what items were stolen.

A police report on the incident has been lodged and the case is being investigated.
