And so according to Sharon she had her request for a copy of the case report turned down with the response "Tak berani tulis" (afraid to write). And as such Sharon has been unable to proceed with her insurance claim till now.
The case report is a standard procedure in a traffic incident and anyone could request for the report by paying a small fee and will take about 1 to 2 week to be issued. ;-))
Well we would advise Sharon to file an e-complain at the PDRM website (HERE) which is more convenient and await for a response otherwise you can write to us again where we will highlight it and maybe attract the attention of the authorities.
Thanks Hawk

ReplyDeleteNot the first time with Malaysian Police, my sister had her handbag snatched in front of the house, and when we were inside the police station to report it, the officers were all sitting in front of the computer, doing nothing, but asking us to wait while they were drinking coffee. I stood up walking near to their desk, to see what they were doing, and finally, one of the lady officer ask us what had happen. From this, we can see, the Police...'tak boleh harap'
