Nigerian College Students Drug Syndicate

Subang Jaya and Puchong, Selangor on Wednesday 25 Nov 2009.

Police conducted two separate raids in Subang Jaya and uncovered a drug trafficking syndicate and detain 10 Nigerian students. The first raid conducted at 8.45 am by the Criminal Investigation Department of Bukit Aman Narcotic division where they detained 4 Nigerian students when they tried to escape and were caught after a short chase in front of a hotel in Subang Jaya and seized 925 grams of heroin and cash of USD 5,000.00 and in local Malaysian Ringgit with the total estmated amount equvalent to RM. 60,000.00.

In a separate case six Nigerian were detained in an investigation where they were in an apartment in Taman Desa Millenium in Puchong, Selangor.

All the Nigerian suspects age between 23 to 28 years are college students in different colleges if the Klang Valley.
